We allocate livin properties through a choice based lettings scheme (CBL) known as Durham Key Options. Durham Key Options (DKO) is a partnership of local social housing providers across County Durham. The partners are:-

Anyone over 16 years can apply to join the housing register.
We own and manage around 8,500 homes for rent, ranging from single person one bedroom flats to three and four bedroom houses for larger families.
Our aim is to match applicants with the home that best meets their needs. When you apply for housing we will carry out an assessment of your housing needs and award a band in line with your circumstances.
The homes we have available to let are advertised each week from a Thursday – Tuesday.
As an applicant you will be able to see the number and type of properties that we have available to let in each area each by either viewing the map above or by logging onto the Durham Key Options website at www.durhamkeyoptions.co.uk
