Today we can announce the retirement of our executive director, property and development, Wayne Harris who will be leaving on the 31 March 2018.
Wayne has been with us for almost nine years during which he has overseen the management of our 8,400 homes including managing our repairs and maintenance contract and our new build development portfolio.
Wayne’s departure will see a change in our management structure, which will move to a two director integrated delivery model with our repairs and maintenance partner Mears.
The new integrated delivery model will enable us to deliver the challenging business objectives set out in our recently published business strategy Plan A, through a relentless focus on the customer.https://plana.livin.co.uk/
The new structure will consist of two departments. A Finance and Development department led by our current executive director, Sean Brodie and an operations department led by our current executive director, Alan Boddy, overseen by our chief executive Colin Steel.
Colin Steel, chief executive, livin, said: “This is a step change for Livin and Mears but one that is necessary and undoubtedly in the best interests of our customers and our wider business.”
Colin Middlemass, chief operating officer, Mears, said: “The new integrated delivery model will have a significant impact on the way our businesses are organised and services delivered aligning not only systems and processes but cultures to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.”
On behalf of everyone at Livin we would like to thank Wayne for his exceptional contribution.
