Livin Futures works with local schools and colleges to provide a range of support including; breakfast clubs, work experience, mock interviews, employability advice and much more

Greggs Breakfast Club

We work in partnership with the Greggs Foundation delivering free breakfast clubs to five local primary schools in our area.  Over the past two years over 500 children have benefited from free toast, cereal and juice at their start of the day, with over 15 volunteers gaining experience in catering.

The benefits of the breakfast club include:

  • Children have improved health and nutrition
  • Children have improved attendance and punctuality
  • Children are able to socialise and make friends
  • Children have better relations with school staff
  • Parents are less wary of school and are more likely to attend parent’s evenings
  • Children are able to concentrate better and results are improved
