How do I get my gas and electric on at my new property?

Once you know who your gas and electricity suppliers are, you need to call them to change the supply into name of the lead tenant. If you have pre-payment meters, please make sure that there is credit on the meter at this time. Once this is done, you can then contact us to book an appointment for your gas and electric supply to be switched on.

How do I find out who my gas supplier is?

To find out who the gas supplier is for your new home, please visit https://www.findmysupplier.energy.

How do I find out who my electricity supplier is?

To find out who the electricity supplier is for your new home, please call North East England and CE Electric on 0845 601 3268.

How can I get involved with Livin and help to shape services?

To find out more about the different ways you can get involved, please visit our getting involved section.

How do I set up a direct debit?

You can set up a direct debit inside of the tenant portal. The optional payment dates on the direct debit form are the 6th or 20th, or weekly on a Friday. Should you require alternative dates, please contact us to arrange this.

    Sheila Rooney, from Chilton has a wealth of experience in health and wellbeing, having worked at Northumbria University teaching health science, after a long career as a heart and chest nurse.  She volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau for eight years, spent four years as a non-executive director at the NHS Primary Care Trust and worked across East Durham to aid people back into work through condition management.
