Livin is working with Foundation of Light and our Western Estate partners and community groups to deliver some FREE Summer Holiday activities open to all children and young people living on the estate:
Football Fridays for children and young people aged 8 year plus (children under 8 years must be accompanied by a parent or suitable guardian). Practice and learn new football skills with the Foundation of Light team. Fun and informal, all abilities are welcome:

And for families, join us for an afternoon of Family Fun on the green at Silverdale Place, Friday 31 August, 12noon–4pm with Foundation of Light and community partners (children under 8 years must be accompanied by a parent or suitable guardian).
Free Packed Lunches
Free packed lunches will be provided for children and young people living on the estate and taking part. In addition to these activity Fridays, packed lunches are also available from Monday to Thursday from 6 August through to Friday 31 August and includes a sandwich, fruit, a drink, crisps and either a cake or chocolate bar. If you are interested, please come along to the gazebo on the large grassed area within Silverdale Place from 12 noon to 12.30pm. Packed lunches will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
Summer Holiday Project at Jubilee Fields Community Centre, Shildon.
Sessions will support 30 children with fun out of school activities, including a health nutritious lunch and healthy snacks.
The project will work with children aged 5 to 13 years, 2 days per week from 23 July to 24 August 2018
Cooking on a Budget at Trimdon Village Community Centre, Trimdon Village.
Free project to support 20 families to prepare and enjoy healthy, budget busting meals. Sessions will take place once a week every week in August.

Sessions will support 50 children with fun activities and trips away, including lunch and healthy snacks.
The project will work with children aged 5 to 11 years and 12 to 17 years, 4 days per week from 23 July to 24 August 2018
