Opportunities For Young People

As a result of the pandemic young people are more likely to have lost their jobs, experienced long term wage scarring and have fewer opportunities to find meaningful work.  We have joined the #1mchances campaign to offer jobs, work experience and apprenticeships to you, our tenants.

Recruiting now - handyperson placements

We have 40 placements available to undertake work experience in general maintenance operations working with our partner Mears Group on our empty homes. Running for 16 hours a week on 4 week periods you will be mentored by an experienced tradesperson and receive on the job training and placement support. Expected start date : October 2021

Paid Kickstart placements

The Governments Kickstart scheme has provided high quality jobs for people aged 16 to 24. As a Gateway provider, we currently have vacancies at Cleves Cross Primary Learning Trust, Eden Learning Trust, Mears, Tolent Living, Advance Learning Partnership – Whitworth Academy

We see apprentices as being a key element of our future growth plans. We have former apprentices and trainees working at every level within our organisation. When we have an opportunity to recruit into a progressive role, we look to attract graduates who have completed University but are not finished learning into higher apprenticeships.

Skills Foundation

We can provide the skills to support you on your chosen career path. We currently have exciting opportunities available in care, transport (HGV), warehousing and construction.
