From 1 April 2019, Glendale Countryside Ltd. will be Livin’s Grounds Maintenance contractor. Glendale will maintain Livin’s open spaces carrying out services such as grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, hedge cutting, weed control and litter collection.

Glendale has been appointed to maintain all of Livin’s open spaces on a five year contract from 1 April 2019. Glendale won the contract because of their experience, nationally and locally, to deliver a high quality grounds maintenance service. Grass cutting will start 1 April 2019. Please note that the first cut of the year is always a higher cut. The grass length will gradually reduce over the first few cuts until it reaches the required length. Cutting the grass too short, too fast, is known as ‘scalping’ which can lead to disease and weed infestation. You can contact Glendale customer centre on:

Livin carries out a tree survey on all trees on our property every 4 years, this includes trees in tenant’s gardens. The next tree survey will be carried out in the summer of 2019. Any necessary works identified during the survey are prioritised and put into a 4 year programme of maintenance work.
