North East Housing Partnership

The North East Housing Partnership brings together social housing providers from around the North East to work collectively to achieve shared goals to improve communities and to deliver more social housing.

Building better for the North East

We are a member of the North East Housing Partnership (NEHP) alongside other social landlords and local authorities.

Housing is central to supporting healthier lives, stronger communities and a more productive regional economy and we are committed to working with others to secure long-term investment and place-based delivery to improve the lives of the people living in our homes and communities.

The new NEHP prospectus, Building Better Lives, sets out how we will work together to support long-term renewal across the region.

We’re focusing on four key areas of work:

Development and Regeneration

Delivering more new homes and unlocking regeneration
across the region.

Quality Homes and Investment

Improving the quality, safety, energy efficiency, and long term
sustainability of existing homes.

Better Lives

Improving life chances for residents through poverty reduction,
skills, employment and family wellbeing.

Homelessness, Specialist and Supported Housing

Strengthening the system response for specialist housing needs and supported accommodation, and working with local authorities to relieve homelessness.

Our prospectus

All 17 partners have collaborated on a prospectus for change entitled ‘Building Better for the North East’. This prospectus showcases what we are already doing as housing providers and features case studies highlighting our impact. In the prospectus, we set out our offer for the NEMCA region.
