Seated exercise and social - Shildon

Light guided seated exercise in partnership with Thrive at West Close Community Lounge, Shildon. Free to join.

Job Club - Ferryhill

Free access to IT equipment every weekday with Ferryhill Ladder Centre. No appointment needed, just drop in.

The Ladder Centre, 5-7 Coniston Road, Ferryhill, DL17 8EZ.

Open every Monday to Thursday in the IT suite from 8:30am to 1pm.

Supported job club sessions run every Monday and Thursday 10am until 12pm.

Community craft sessions

Meet new people and join in the fun with crafts. Free to join.

Hirst Court, Middlestone Moor, DL16 7BG - every Wednesday from 10 June. From 11:15am until 12:15pm.

Communal Lounge, Rowan Avenue, Shildon, DL4 2AR - every Tuesday from 2 June. From 1.00pm until 2.30pm.

West Close Communal Lounge, Shildon, DL4 1LE - every Thursday 18 June. From 10.00am until 11.30am.

SEN Sportsability - Spennymoor

Fun, safe gym sessions for young pope up to 18 years old with autistic spectrum disorder, designed to be enjoyed with parents and siblings.

Full use of gymnastics hall equipment including trampolines, bars, air track, inflatable challenger and foam pits.

Chapter 50 - Newton Aycliffe

Age UK County Durham Information and Advice Team are hosting sessions at Simpasture Lounge in Newton Aycliffe.

Join for an exciting talk by Karl Jennings about the moon landings accompanied by astronaut photography. Tuesday 28 July from 6:00pm - 6:45pm

North East Organised Crime Unit will be sharing information on spotting scams. Thursday 30 July from 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Drop in for free, confidential and impartial advice on welfare benefits on Monday 10 August from 10:00am -11:00am.

Booking a community lounge

We have lounges available to book across Newton Aycliffe, Shildon and Spennymoor on a half or full day basis. The venues differ in size and can accommodate between 35 to 70 people.
