We’re thrilled to share we’ve reached a significant milestone with the handover of our 9,000th home.
Hannah, Phil, and their two children are delighted to have moved into their new home at Middlestone Meadows, Spennymoor which gives them the three bedrooms and secure garden space their family needs.
To reach our target of 9,000 homes, we’ve built and acquired over 1,300 properties across our communities, providing much needed family homes, bungalows, and flats.
Flagship developments include 59 homes at Laburnum Grove, St Helens Auckland, 69 homes at Travellers Green, Newton Aycliffe, 71 at Hamminkeln Place, Sedgefield, and 58 homes at Southside, Ferryhill.
All new properties are energy-efficient ensuring an EPC rating of B or above with more recent developments boasting highly energy-efficient heating systems, photo voltaic panels, and air source heat pumps to reduce carbon emissions and help with running costs.
Hannah McKechnie, Livin tenant said: “We recently moved in and are excited to start making this our home. With two young boys, we needed more space and additional bedrooms for our family. I’m looking forward to start making memories in our new home”.
Sean Brodie, Executive Director of Finance and Investment said: "We are delighted with the significant milestone of our 9,000th home, an achievement that reflects our commitment to building and acquiring sustainable housing that effectively meets the needs of our communities. Our focus remains on adding high quality sustainable homes to our stock and this milestone is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create places that people genuinely are proud to call home"
