
Our digital support programme, 'Livin Life Online' is being welcomed by customers to overcome digital barriers.
The programme offers support using one-to-one, and group sessions to boost confidence and skills to access websites and navigate smart devices.
Since its launch in September 2024, we've spoken to over 300 customers and attended eight community events to deliver 'Livin Life Online'. Customers have reported now being able to manage daily tasks online such as calendars and emails, being able to connect with friends, and managing their Livin tenancy through the website including contacting us quickly and easily.
We are currently working with Les Gatenby from Spennymoor on a personalised support plan that matches his skill set.
Les Gatenby, our customer, said: " I bought a tablet not long ago to be able to watch shows on it and purchase collectibles which is a hobby of mine. After seeing the advert in the paper, Alex came to see me, and we're just starting to learn the ins and outs so that I can gain more confidence using the tablet."
Alex Johnson, Digital Experience Analyst said: "We work together with our customers to understand how we can best meet their digital requirements. This may be using step by step guides, demonstrations, loaning them a digital device, or keeping in regular contact to answer any queries."
