Braving the shave to raise over £1,000 for Macmillan
On Friday, two of our amazing colleagues David Rafferty and Ian Walker took part in Brave the Shave to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Their commitment brought the whole team together, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible support shown across the office.
Brave the Shave brings is one of Macmillan's national fundraising challenges, with thousands taking part each year to help fund vital services offering expert care throughout cancer treatment.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of colleagues, Dave and Ian have smashed their original £300 target and raised an amazing £1,040.
Dave Rafferty, Head of Housing, said; "We’re incredibly grateful for the support shown by everyone across the organisation. Taking part in Brave the Shave was a small gesture, but knowing it helped raise just over £1,000 for Macmillan makes it truly worthwhile.”
