Coffee morning raises over £240 for Macmillan thanks to star bakers

Our Housing Adviser, Naomi Walker hosted a coffee morning at our headquarters in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, raising over £240 with the help of her talented colleagues who contributed delicious home-baked treats.

The 'Macmillan Coffee Morning' is the UK’s largest fundraising event to support cancer care. Each year, thousands of people across the country host the event on the last Friday of September, to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, which helps nearly 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer.

Naomi Walker, Housing Adviser said: “It was lovely to see so many colleagues come together around their busy schedules for such an important cause. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity and the amazing home-baked treats that helped us raise over £240 for Macmillan Cancer Support.”

The funds raised from the home baked goods will contribute to Macmillan’s efforts to provide practical, emotional, and financial support to those affected by cancer.
