Energy efficient homes taking shape in Low Etherley, Bishop Auckland
We visited our development at Low Etherley, Bishop Auckland along with Graeme Walton, head of construction, Oaktree Living ahead of its planned completion date this September.
This development site comprises nine, three-bedroomed family homes with high levels of thermal efficiency, available for affordable rent and rent to buy.
Each home will offer generous living spaces for families and have been fitted with PV solar panels to increase thermal efficiency, helping tenants save money on their energy bills.
Andrew Kitchen, Head of development, said: "We are pleased to be able to deliver highly energy efficient and truly affordable homes in Low Etherley, that will help local families to remain in their community "
Graeme Walton, Head of Construction for Oaktree Living said: "It’s a pleasure to be involved in another scheme with Livin, delivering high quality, energy efficient homes. These properties will be ready for handover in the coming months for some very lucky families."
