New affordable homes coming to Bishop Auckland
Pudsey Close, our newest housing development in Bishop Auckland will provide 19 high-quality, energy-efficient homes, with completion anticipated in Spring 2027.
The development will be delivered in partnership with our construction colleagues at Oaktree Living and will feature a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, as well as two-bedroom bungalows. Each property will benefit from a contemporary design and incorporate sustainable technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps, photovoltaic solar panels, electric vehicle charging points, and enhanced thermal insulation. These elements are intended to promote renewable energy use and support tenants in reducing their energy bills.
Andrew Kitchen, Head of Development, said: “Pudsey Close is a fantastic example of how we’re continuing to invest in affordable homes, designed with sustainability and modern living in mind. This development reflects our commitment to creating places where people can thrive and supports our ambition to build balanced communities working once again with Oaktree Living to bring these homes to Bishop Auckland.”
John Seymour, Business Manager, Oaktree Living said: “We’re delighted to partner with Livin on this new development, bringing 19 energy-efficient homes to Bishop Auckland. Each property will feature sustainable technologies, helping shape the future of affordable housing.”
