Seven new apprentices join the Livin team
This September, we proudly welcomed seven talented apprentices, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in their careers within the housing sector.
Ben Edwards, Charlie Seaman, Hallie Smith, Lewis Marr, Lucas Carswell, Shane Osbourne, and Sophie Stradling will gain hands-on experience whilst studying in their chosen professional areas, including building surveying, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical work, and housing services.
The apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with formal education, leading to nationally recognised qualifications ranging from level three to six.
Sophie Stradling, Building Surveyor Apprentice, said: I'm incredibly grateful to start a building surveying apprenticeship with Livin. From day one, everyone has made me feel genuinely welcomed and supported, and it's already clear that I'm surrounded by a team who want to see me succeed; I'm excited to grow, learn and contribute within the assets team".
Graham Darby, Director of Housing and Communities, said: "Apprenticeships have always been an important part of how we grow, with many of our employees beginning their careers this way. Seeing our 2025 apprentices already making a positive start is fantastic. We're proud to invest in people who will help us deliver modern, sustainable homes and high-quality services for our communities."
We look forward to catching up with them in February to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week.
