What is Domestic Abuse?
Domestic abuse is any single or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are, or have been partners or family members. Domestic abuse can occur regardless of gender or sexuality of those involved. Types of abuse include:
- Psychological, physical, sexual, financial and emotional
- Threats, stalking and intimidation
