Our people case study - Ellie Redhead, Building Surveyor Apprentice
Ellie joined us in September 2024 after successfully completing her GCSE's at Wolsingham School. She was initially inspired after a careers assembly at her school and heard about the variety of roles that apprenticeships offered.
As a cadet she is well equipped with strong communication skills often speaking and interreacting with a members of the public. She knew she wanted a hands on role and found the surveying apprentice ticked all of the boxes for her.
As a Building Surveyor Apprentice Ellie will be studying towards a BTEC level three in Surveying technician.
Overall, the first six months of my apprenticeship has been a rewarding experience seeing projects through from the initial inspection to completion all whilst deepening my understanding of the construction and property management industry.
